Free for good (since 2014), UCLA’s Hammer Museum summer concerts are back for another season of music in the courtyard.
Indie shoegaze ensemble Dummy takes over Hammer’s courtyard on July 17. Maral (think, Iranian folk meets experimental dance music) and Krautrock-psych pop duo Peaking Lights round out the roster.
Very Be Careful is bringing their vibrant cumbias and Colombian vallenatos to the courtyard on July 31. Pop-Trop 6-piece, Healing Gems and La Papaya Club founder, activist-DJ Eléanora, are also on the bill.

Each summer concert date at the Hammer begins at 6:30 p.m. with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. Events also feature later gallery hours, art-making, cocktails, food and more. For priority entry and a free first drink, consider becoming a member.
RSVPing in advance to each event helps Hammer gauge attendance, but won’t guarantee you entry if the event reaches capacity. Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. You can RSVP and find the full concert schedule on the Hammer Museum website.
