Missing The Rave? Rewind and Relive HARD Summer 2024

Relive the memories of HARD Summer 2024 before grabbing tickets to Teenage Dreams, featuring DJ Heartstring, Boys Noize, Skin On Skin, Patrick Mason, and more at this ethereal 12-hour dance party on November 9th, 2024 in Los Angeles. Tickets for Teenage Dreams are available now on the HARD website.

HARD Summer 2024 brought the party to Hollywood Park in the heart of Los Angeles, cementing the electronic music festival’s status as the city’s premiere music event of the summer. The new venue managed to mitigate sound bleed and interact with existing infrastructure for an event that felt cohesive and easy to navigate. Water stations were plentiful, and the venue’s expansive outdoor space meant that attendees might see a small spider cross a busy sidewalk of Barbie-clad ravers, or a hawk soar as thumping peak time techno drifted into the wind.

This year’s lineup reflected a return to the UK roots of dance music, with headliners like Disclosure and Jamie XX, as well as star acts like Hamdi, Sub Focus, Interplanetary Criminal, Seth Troxler and more educating generations old and new on the influential sounds of garage, 2-step, house, dubstep, and drum and bass—with plenty of Eurotrance, hardgroove, and remixes of British pop princess Charli XCX sprinkled throughout.

Highlights of the weekend came from the festival’s smaller stages—over at the Locals Only Stage presented by Jose Cuervo, LAALLS and Cerulean spun a wide-ranging, vibey b2b vignetted by a stunning sunset in a cozy, air-conditioned cabana-like setting tucked away from the chaos of mainstage crowds. Following a mainstage performance the day prior, HARD Recs alum Lake Hills treated fans to a heady set packed with hardgroove, techno, and deep dub at the Beatbox Art Car, with plenty of room to dance at the stage’s sandy oasis.

For the ever-growing community of sober and sober-curious ravers, the selection of non-alcoholic beverages were impressive and reasonably priced, ranging from sparkling water all the way to canned mocktails. Many food trucks (including a vegan option) were offered on-site, as well as unique food and beverage collaborations with local restaurants such as Inglewood favorite Sunday Gravy, among others.

Though we have a few more seasons to cycle through before HARD Summer 2025, the fun doesn’t have to end—visit HARD for tickets to your next show.

See you next year!
