Shabang Festival Brings Thundercat, Peach Pit, and Sidepiece to San Luis Obispo on May 3 + 4

Celebrating its 10th year, Shabang Festival will commence in San Luis Obispo on May 3rd and 4th in the lush setting of the Dairy Creek Golf Course. The beloved music, arts, and camping festival features a lineup of artists sure to please a variety of crowdgoers, bringing dance music acts Noizu and Sidepiece, indie stars Peach Pit and Nala, Grammy nominee Thundercat, festival director and curator SAWYER, and more to the sunny Californian town.

Guests can enjoy a number of curated events to enhance the good vibes—the festival will host flow-based and “rave” yoga, live art installations, guided breathwork sessions, ecstatic dance parties, and a silent disco for those looking to move and groove in new ways. Set in central California’s beautiful wine country, Shabang will also feature local vintners and breweries for those who wish to imbibe in the region’s acclaimed offerings.

For the first time since its inaugural edition in 2014, camping packages will also be offered at El Chorro Regional Park Campground with bathrooms, showers, picnic tables, fire pits, RV hookups, and a general store, all within a 10-minute walk from the venue. Activities will be provided at the campgrounds such as yoga classes, volleyball, and tours through the neighboring San Luis Obispo Botanical Gardens.
