With the release of her debut EP HEAVEN’S DOOR on HARD RECS earlier this year, trap queen ROSSY is ascending to her highest self as she continues to take on the music industry by magnificent storm. 2023 continues to be an eventful year for ROSSY—the Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, and creative director launched her first-ever headline tour with Brownies & Lemonade and made her historical festival debut at Electric Forest.
Now, the multi-hyphenate artist is preparing for her upcoming HEAVEN’S DOOR Warehouse Experience headliner show in Los Angeles with Saka, Baaric, and DJ Topgun, happening July 14th at Lot 613. The show is a culmination of many years of hard work, with ROSSY shaping the complete creative vision of the project, from her songwriting to her live show production.

From the visual experience on stage and online, she gracefully admits how meticulous her process can be. “I’m honestly so obsessed with the creative process of ROSSY. I have a hand in everything from lighting production down to the flier. Being involved in every story being told from my songs to the live show is so important to me because I know I’m putting in so much time, energy, and effort into making it the best that it can be. Take HEAVEN’S DOOR for example—I knew I wanted to have a name for my debut EP that evoked an ethereal vibe. Once HEAVEN’s DOOR entered my brain, everything just kind of flowed naturally from there and we brought it to life! I hope the passion and love I have for my art truly resonates with everyone that wants to be a part of it.”
Garnering support from labels like Deadbeats and Sable Valley, ROSSY’s career has exploded into heights never before expected, nor imagined. “It honestly feels surreal!” she exclaims. “There’s been so much happening. I feel so lucky to be able to tour and do all of these shows.”
Sharing wisdom for aspiring creatives, ROSSY vividly shares the story behind a full-circle moment in which she recently headlined the very same Sacramento venue that fired her many moons ago. “I remember the times when I was barely playing one show a month. Back then, I knew I had to work various jobs in order to stay afloat. There was that one time when I asked my managers in advance for the night off and they didn’t approve it. I decided to take a leap of faith and chase my dream instead of working that shift, knowing that I could probably find another job and that I could be replaced. I got fired shortly after but I don’t regret it at all.”
Expanding on the lesson this experience taught her, ROSSY explains, “The best piece of advice I can offer anyone that may be in a similar journey is to always believe in yourself and let your passion fuel your dreams. I truly believe we only have one life to experience what we want to do here. I’m so thankful I get to be doing what I’m doing now and if it weren’t for those hard moments of making decisions that felt like the best choice for me, I wouldn’t have had everything else open up. If it works out, great! But even if it doesn’t and you fail, that’s okay too because you know you put 100% of what you care about into the world and that’s all that matters. We always have these phases and points in life to learn, grow, and evolve from so you have to do what’s best for you.
ROSSY has no plans to slow down her stratospheric rise to the top, immediately following her HEAVEN’S DOOR Warehouse Experience with another upcoming headline show in Denver and more dates soon to be announced. Teasing new music, she excitedly shares that fans have “lots of ROSSY things in store” to look forward to this year.
