Midnight Society member Original God linked up with Sleeping of Sirens’ Kellin Quinn in his Good Charlotte-produced latest, “Song of Saya.” Based on the Japanese eroge horror title of the same name, “Song of Saya” is a darkly industrial take on the melodic post-hardcore sound of millennial youth. The trap-rock hybrid, produced by Billy Martin and Brody McKeegan, utilizes the alternating tones of Quinn’s angelically piercing voice, while Original God’s gritty, soulful vocals provide a hypnotic mood to the song. “Song of Saya” is out now on Cleopatra Records, who previously released Original God’s 2020 album Suspiriorum.
