Essentials: “Luck of the Irish” – Foggieraw

Foggieraw’s latest single is a cool, slick slice of what’s to come next for the rising star. The Maryland artist brings his effortlessly laid-back flow over a buttery smooth instrumental courtesy of French producer SOUDIERE. The excellent production stars on “Luck of the Irish” with an incredible saxophone sample taking centre stage in lieu of a traditional hook. It’s easy to get lost in the mellow beat despite its thumping bass. Fittingly, the single was released on St Patricks Day, accompanied by an inventive music video featuring Foggieraw and his friend besieged by a topless Leprechaun. Even without the killer visuals, the song is a great mix of laidback vibes with a hard-thumping bass and is a must-listen.
