Man, this one is a total earworm. “What Do U Want”, Yetep‘s collaboration with vocalist Sara Skinner (who’s making a name for herself in dance music with some fantastic recent releases), lets Skinner’s ethereal voice build to unleash an effervescent storm of synths. Upon first listen, I was immediately reminded of M83‘s smash hit “Midnight City”, and with any luck, “What Do U Want” will reach the same heights that song has. Case in point: I’ve listened to this song eight times in a row now, so maybe I’ll single-handedly provide enough streams for it to hit the same numbers “Midnight City” has.
