Ahee‘s Action EP has something that’ll please every electronic music fan—seriously. Action, out now on Play Me Records, hops from the euphoric dubstep track “Supernova” (made from super-processed insect sounds!) to the deep house infused title track seamlessly. “Flyby” is begging to be rinsed in a festival set, with a groovy vocal attached to the 128-BPM chunky drop that follows shortly after. However, my favorite track off the Action EP is the final one—”Got Dat Booty”. When I first heard it, I immediately grabbed the track to use in my own DJ sets. The energy and production behind it was thrilling; it reminds me of the jolt I had the first time I heard MUST DIE’s “Hellcat”.
