English newcomer, ARK, released her ethereal debut single “Made For Us” earlier this month. The vocals and piano chords give off a serious London Grammar vibe, which I’m absolutely loving. The artist’s vocal range is pretty impressive—she starts the song with a deep, emotive tone which transitions to a siren-like falsetto at the chorus, which creates this amazing melodic pay off. The lyrics are honest and personal, detailing the chaos in a relationship. Adding in the dramatic drum beat, the listener can feel the depth of emotion that the songwriter intended for the track.
We can expect two more singles from ARK, after recently signing with Kobalt for a three-single deal.
