Teen Daze‘s upcoming EP, Themes For A New Earth, serves as the companion to February’s Themes For Dying Earth, and is the second release on the producer’s label FLORA. In “Echoes”, the first single off New Earth, the pious hum of a choir envelopes a lone windchime tinkling in the foreground. The initial stillness of “Echoes” steadily climbs to a layered swath of string instruments among the angelic voices, channeling a mood of awe-struck reverence. More of an ambient offering than the songs we heard on Dying Earth, “Echoes” indicates that New Earth will seemingly explore rebirth, creation, and the eternal beauty of nature.
