As someone who got behind both Halsey and Ellie Goulding before they were mainstream cool, I have to tell you Bella Mer is on course to be my newest addiction. “Bedroom Eyes” is nothing short of intoxicating. A mellow voice guides the song across bold percussion and a solid dance beat. Without losing that ethereal alt sound, the track walks the line with an intriguing pop sound. There’s an exciting newness to this style. Maybe I am, indeed, caught up on “Bedroom Eyes,” but whatever the reason, I am excited to here more from this young artist.
