Melody Prochet of the french psych-pop outfit, Melody’s Echo Chamber, has released an epic new song in celebration of her thirtieth birthday. “Cross My Heart” is the debut track from her upcoming sophomore album featuring additional production from Fredrik Swahn (of The Amazing) and Reine Fiske (of Dungen).
The seven-minute song boasts Melody’s relaxed, bi-lingual vocals along with an array of ambitious rhythmic sections. Lush arrangements of bowed and wind instruments add a fresh compliment to her signature grungy percussion and distorted guitar. Listen to the full song below.
