A note to listeners: T. Ailey‘s “It Goes” is best experienced with a nice pair of headphones or speakers. “It Goes” starts with lush folk influences and vocal looping that builds upon itself, as T. Ailey’s vocal lead weaves its’ way through the rich tapestry of sound. I was initially reminded of Fleet Foxes‘s “White Winter Hymnal” when listening to this song, but T. Ailey’s sound is incomparable – a fusion of electronic, acoustic, folk, and pop, she’s one that we should all be paying attention to.
